Philippa Reid joins the TRIbe as Brand Account Manager in September 2017, from SLG in Gloucester where she has been an Account Executive, account managing UK and International customers including Marks and Spencer’s. Her previous role also gave her experience in customer service, reporting, forecasting, exhibition co-ordination and new product launches. This appointment allows us to make some changes to the allocation of accounts in the marketing team and will allow more focus on developing growth opportunities.
What attracted you to Tudor Rose International?
The opportunity to work closely with household food and drink brands really excited me.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
Increasing brand awareness and seeing TRI grow!
What celebrity would you most like to work with and why?
It would have to be a combination of Barack Obama (is he a celebrity now?!) for his leadership qualities, David Mitchell because I find him hilarious and would be good to keep up team morale, and Nigella Lawson for the delicious food she would hopefully bring in to work!
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to keep fit and play netball for a fun-league in Cheltenham. I also love a bit of Zumba! I am also a bit of a film
geek and ty to get to the cinema as often as I can.
What was your first-ever job?
My first job after school was as a telephone charity fundraiser. It was a good experience as it helped me develop a thick skin!
What is your motto in life?
‘Everything happens for a reason’ – the good and the bad!
