Amy joins the TRIbe!

In March 2017, Amy joined the Tribe as Order & Supply Chain Coordinator for the APAM Region.

Amy has recently been working in the fabrications department for bespoke wooden kitchens as a sales executive and order processor. She is also a qualified RYA Dinghy Instructor having completed seasons in Corsica and Rhodes. During her time at Sheffield University, Amy was project leader working with survivors of human trafficking and running a jewellery and cosmetics enterprise with them.

We asked Amy a few questions to get to know a bit more about our latest member of the TRIbe;

What attracted you to Tudor Rose International?
I wanted to work at TRI for a few reasons. In my previous job I worked a lot with logistics, order processing and customer service so I was attracted this role in particular. As well as this, I do really like the idea of working in a company that does business with so many different customers and locations all across the globe.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am most looking forward to getting stuck into the team and building good relationships with my clients.

What celebrity would you most like to work with and why?
Difficult question, but I would say that I would most like to work with JK Rowling, she seems like such a great boss and she could answer all of my obscure Harry Potter questions!

What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I like walking, sailing and swimming.

What was your first-ever job?
My first ever job was working as a sailing instructor for Mark Warner. I went out to Lemnos in Greece and spent the summers between university years there. It was hard work and very long hours, but I loved the job and the people I worked with, and obviously I got an amazing tan at the end of it too!

What is your motto in life?

Everything happens for a reason!

Q1 2017 Charity update

2017 has seen our fundraising total rising as you all generously support our chosen charity Teenage Cancer Trust.

In February, we held a Virtual Horseracing event at Stroud Brewery which with the silent auction running alongside was a great success raising over £1,500! March saw Chris and John take to the streets of Bath to take part in (and successfully complete!) the Half Marathon.

Well done to them both as they have raised an amazing £1,650 bringing our current total to just over £8,000. Our target of £10,000 is in sight so watch this space for more information on fundraising events in the coming months!

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Stuffing Faces for a good cause

Friday 30th September 2016 saw the return of the Macmillan Coffee Morning which Tudor Rose International hosted at our head office in Stroud.

The coffee morning was attended by over 30 people and was a great success with the biggest selection of cakes known to man!!img_5093

A big thank you and well done to all that baked, donated time and money, and a special thanks to the team who organised the whole event. A successful day for a fantastic cause!

Unveiling Our New Website!

We are delighted that our brand new website is live!

The site’s homepage features our new bright corporate colours and an uncluttered design which means it’s much easier for you to find what you are looking for. The new website is faster, easier to navigate, more user-friendly and is also responsive to tablets and smartphones for people on the go!
